"Let's do this KAL". That's how this all started. I saw a posting somewhere on social media about the Malabrigo Rios September KAL and fell in love with the LeHigh Shawl pattern.
Choosing Yarn Colours
Then came the hardest part! Choosing colours for the shawl. If a pattern doesn't specify specific colours, I have a very hard time choosing. It didn't help that Malabrigo Rios has so many options! Looking at their online catalogue was causing a serious case of decision paralysis. There were also some suggested colour combinations, but none of them were really speaking to me.
A quick search of local yarn stores (LYS) led us to Galt House of Yarn in Cambridge, Ontario. And the trip to the store did not disappoint!
After much yarn squishing and changing my mind, I decided on Paris Night and Sunset.
The colours are so rich! I am loving working with it. I am looking forward to knitting this shawl very much. It was definitely what I needed to get my knitting mojo back.
One last thing ..... while at the store, I couldn't remember if I had any size 4.5mm circulars that weren't already being used in a project. Ended up buying a set of tips for my interchangeables. If only I had Stash Locker ready for use!
